This example demonstrates the -test compiler option with the OSS ASN.1 Tools for Java API using a simple BCAS ASN.1 syntax. This option makes it possible to automatically run the Java code without having to write any specially written Java code to encode or decode a PDU for the given ASN.1 syntax. The output that this example generates is captured in baseball.out.
To make it easier for you to run the example from the command line, two scripts are included, a Unix .sh and a Windows .bat.
To run it on a Unix platform, cd to the baseball directory and type:
./run.sh
To run it on Windows, cd to the baseball directory and type:
run
To do a cleanup on Unix, type:
./run.sh cleanup
To do a cleanup on Windows, type:
run cleanup
