CLASSes and information object sets are now in use instead, which are more efficient and convenient than the macros. The example also demonstrates the CLASS approach for the same ASN.1 specification for comparison. The opermacro.asn file is a macro example and the operclass.asn file is a CLASS example.

To ASN.1-compile the macro example, say:

asn1 opr opermacro

and to ASN.1-compile the CLASS example say:

asn1 operclass
