In short, you must ASN.1-compile your syntax with the -exportdlldata compiler option specified to generate the .c and .h files. Suppose dllexp.h is the ASN.1 compiler generated .h file. Then in your application, where you are accessing those constants, you must #define OSS_EXPORT_DLL_DATA and #include dllexp.h as:
#define OSS_EXPORT_DLL_DATA __declspec(dllimport) #include "dllexp.h"
This example can be used by Visual Studio 2008. You will need to do some simple adjustment based on the location of your OSS ASN.1 Tools installation for the include directory and for the import library ossapi.lib.
Note that this feature is only available starting from the OSS ASN.1 Tools for C 6.0.0.
If you target an operating system other than Windows or UNIX, you can also use either of these zip files and discard the Windows- or UNIX-specific files.
